Just talked about a first taste. The Black tastes like Blood. It has no scanners, and is very hard to scan at the same time. A little bit slow at 100 you might think, but you haven't seen this monster fight! A mass of 6000 and no soft spot alone make it fearsome, the 3000 shields and 4500 armor are still nice to have.
Ships with enough armor to withstand the Ionic Gun arrays are the only thing the Black has to fear. 10000 ordnance could be used up quite fast in longer battles considering the 15 Sand Caster, but enough ships should have been disabled by then.
Say good bye to all enemy fighters without Sand Caster Immunity.
