Engines / Generators:

The Dice is your only minesweeper. Unfortunately it is really slow with max speed 75. To get this ship where it is needed you will either need the Jump Point Generator on the Afterlife or some ships to tow it. The only ships that can tow, however, are the Never-Dawn and the Afterlife.
As the Dice appears the same time as your bases become visible it can defend itself with two Blaster Cannons. These can also be effectively used to bomb enemy bases from orbit.
One last characteristic makes the Dice very important to the Shadow: The Holo Decoy. All the Shadow ships are very vulnerable to Photon Torpedoes, because only the Dice has this one Holo Decoy. In a big fleet battle you will *need* these Holo Decoys to counter the Photon Torpedoes of your enemies. Without an Afterlife this is of course a big problem.
