Wow! The Moloch is a wonder considering its tech level. No other ship of this tech level is able to compete in battle. If it only were faster! These monsters are your main base defense, but can hardly be used for any offense if not towed. While protected by 8 Intercept Point Defense Weapons the 2 LTLAs blast any ships in the first 25 turns. The 10 Sand Casters and plenty of ordnance make these ships untouchable by Fighters. As long as the fighters have no Sand Caster Immunity....
The Moloch has a Barbitic Mine Dropper. It can lay maximum minefields every turn without ever running out of ordnance. This is the reason why your enemies will really try to destroy your bases before they have 1mio minions. The Moloch is quite visible and practically blind. In numbers it can be a very powerful defense. They are a must for Gates because of their Base Frequency Seal. You need to have 5 Bases with 10.000 minions for every Moloch.
